The Wat Saket temple is also known as the Golden Mount and is one of the oldest temples in Bangkok. This scared temple comprises of a golden stupa also known as chedi, that lets visitors get a glimpse of the location. The Wat Saket temple dates back to the time of the Ayutthaya, but the golden mount you see today was constructed during the 19th century, reign of the King Rama III.   • By MRT: Tourists can take the MRT to Sam Yot Station; from here you have to take a taxi or tuk-tuk to Wat Saket temple.
  • By Bus: Tourists can take the local bus, the bus numbers that travel to this route include 8, 15, 37, and 47, and they pass near Wat Saket temple.
