Big Buddha Hill (Wat Phra Yai) is also referred to as Wat Phra Yai Temple and is one of the must-visit landmarks of Pattaya, offering stunning views of the surrounding Pattaya Bay. It is one of the must-do activities in Pattaya, enjoying the scenic views from the Big Buddha Hill (Wat Phra Yai) which is 18-meter-tall, covered with golden leaf, which is the largest in Chonburi Province.

  • By Motorbike or Bike: Tourists can easily reach Big Buddha Hill from Pattaya City Center by renting a motorbike. It will take around 10-15 minutes (depending on traffic) to reach.

Opening Days & Times:

  • Opened on a daily basis from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. but the best time to visit is during the morning and evening hours.

  • Entry Charge: Free, but donations and offerings are appreciated for the maintenance of the temple.
