It is in fact the first sanctuary build for the conservation of the elephants, you can describe it as a safe home for the elephants who have been injured, retired or abused. The main aim of the sanctuary is working towards the welfare of the elephants and allowing them to live in a natural setup, freely without being exploited.

How to Reach Phuket Elephant Sanctuary?

By tuk-tuk or taxi: Tourists can easily reach Phuket Elephant Sanctuary which is located in Paklok near Phuket Town by taking a taxi. It will take around 30 minutes to reach from Phuket town and one-hour to reach from Patong Beach.

Tour package: Tourists can book a tour package which will include pick and drop from your location.
