The Gibbon Rehabilitation Project is an important rehabilitation project initiated by Khao Phra Thaeo National Park. The main aim of the project is to rescue the gibbons and offer rehabilitation of the gibbons from illegal pet trade. It provides a home for the gibbons in their natural habitat and educates the masses about its conservation and contributing to the conservation efforts.
Visitors will have a chance to learn about the gibbons habits; get to see some of the gibbons living in wild-open jungle in the park. The Gibbon Rehabilitation Project center is opened from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and tourists must include this program in their trip to Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Park. It will be a chance to know about them and contributing to the conservation efforts.
